Ya, he's the only Paramedic that travels half way across the state to go to work. One would think he was lookin for rock. ;D I have a friend that is a geologist and retired from the USGS. Sounds like a fun job. He worked on the Yellowstone survey for years. Pretty cool job. He has some great stories.

That's why I said the jobs are in state, local and federal government.
We had many when I worked for the state (in a different department).
I was up there all the time asking questions.  I miss that resource now that I'm retired.

State jobs aren't a bad way to go anymore though - they're about the only ones that give you more than part time - and benefits, but even then a lot are seasonal here. 

Anyway - yeah, paramedic - now you know why Dean and Clyde need him along on hunts.  ;D
