Is the member map working?
« on: March 01, 2015, 07:54:55 AM »
Is the member map working correctly? I can go to the member map and place my pin but when I save it I get the message to try again and if that does not work to contact the administrator.

I have tried three times and get the same thing each time. Am I doing something wrong?

Not aware of any problem, but that means nothing.  Tell me where you're tying to pin the map at and I'll give it a try for you.  It's a third party application so there might be a glitch.  If I can pin you, it's a problem at your end. If I can't, I'll send a note to the tech.

Just east of Columbia Missouri (Central Missouri) and south of Interstate 70.

Still not able to add a pin to the member map. I don't know for sure if I am doing something wrong or if it is not working.

Everything seems to work until the last step and then I get the message to contact an administrator.

Dave has a lot on his plate now and this feature isn't priority, so it will get looked at asap.

Sal, does this mean you are back on line?

Yep - just posted in the main forum.  Yesterday all I had time to do is get to all the email and problems etc.  I'm up and running now, though.

OK, not a problem. I just didn't want it to slip through the cracks. I know we all have higher priorities, especially when it's Spring and the sun is shining.

Not only that - but our tech works this site basically for free, so I have to be real sparing about requests.  If I find some way to pull in adequate funding, I might be able to get a lot more done.  I'd like to see the map working - but have to choose our causes diligently.
