Been in the 100's down here, too - but feels like it's cooling off after having a few showers.   It's supposed to drop into the 80's by next week -- with a few showers, so I think I'll probably take run up around Gurlach or over to Lovelock before the 100's come back.

That is hot.  Sorry you're getting it again.  Supposed to be into the 90s here tomorrow.

Was like that here the last couple of weeks, too.  Last weekend I was out of the car for 5 minutes and the heat knocked me nauseous.  We only have another month of real hot, though, then another 2 or 3 before winter shuts us off.

Supposed to be 98 today in La Grande and we are at 4,000 feet elevation.  Maybe I'll go Huckle Berry picking at over 7,000 feet it might be cooler up there.   Mark

I always though the southeast was hot in the summer, but it's usually only in the 90's... but very humid   ;)

I haven't been digging for rocks much this summer, except for a trip to OR, but doing lots of digging in my garden.  The best thing about being hot here is that in the middle of the day when it's the hottest, the bugs go away for a few hours.

Can't wait until fall...

I'm watching strobing lightning just to the North of me right now.  Waiting to see if it comes directly over.  I  know there's some rain going on with this stuff.

Oh boy, huckleberries!  I love huckleberries.

Went up on MT.  Harris in the Blue Mountains around 7,000 Ft. to our favorite Huckleberry location and did not find even one berry.  We did not even find any dried or green berries .  It looks like they did not even set this year.  Mark
