Cutting polishing gold sheen obsidian

Anyone know if it can be destroyed easily like fire obsidian can?  Are there special precautions that need to be taken?

Ive cut and polished some golden sheen obsidian before but mostly rainbow that I dug from Davis Creek, CA. I cut and polished that same as the rainbow and it came out pretty good. Of course I am still a beginner with rockhounding and lapidary work, but my experience with obsidian is somewhat ok so far. Just my two cents....

I don't have the equipment to do it, Derek.  I was just wondering exactly how careful I have to be about finding someone to cut it.  It's a pretty spectacular specimen and I don't want anything to go wrong with it.
