Rockhounding club owned land
« on: February 09, 2019, 02:09:59 PM »
I was a member of GPAA for a few years. My new hobby is now rock collecting, especially crystal clusters. Iíve been wondering why thereís no group for rockhounding that either buys or leases land for the members to use like the GPAA does. Very frustrating that so many pay to dig mines arenít much more than tourists attractions. Any thoughts or interest?

The GPAA is a money making scheme to benefit a few top members. The benefit to the rest of the members is just a bonus.

We don't need any type of regulation on spots above what we already have. Plus, the few claims owned by clubs are impossible to maintain.
